We know how important it is for your doors to arrive on time and in perfect condition. This page answers the most common questions about our delivery and collection service, including how long delivery takes, where we deliver, what it costs, and how to arrange collection if preferred.

WHERE DO YOU DELIVER TO?

We offer a nationwide delivery service, primarily using our own vehicles and dedicated delivery staff. For locations beyond the reach of our fleet, we partner with the Palletways network to provide kerbside palletised deliveries.

I LIVE OUTSIDE MAINLAND UK, HOW CAN I ORDER MY GOODS?

We can accept orders from customers located outside mainland UK; however, delivery is limited to addresses within mainland UK, such as ports or freight forwarding agents.

Please note that we do not provide an export service. Customers are responsible for arranging onward transportation from the delivery address to their final destination.

Delivery to port or freight forwarding agents

If your goods are being delivered to a port or freight forwarding agent for export, the delivery will be handled in the same manner as a residential delivery. This means delivery will be made to a ground-floor location only, and the items will be supplied in their standard packaging without any additional protective materials.

VAT and Exported Goods

To allow us to apply zero-rated VAT to your order for export outside the UK, you must ensure that the goods are physically exported within the required time limits and provide us with valid proof of export. This typically includes official shipping or customs documentation showing the goods have left the UK, along with evidence linking the export to your purchase from us. As you will be arranging your own shipping (an indirect export), you are responsible for supplying this evidence promptly. If we do not receive acceptable proof within the required timeframe, we will be required to charge UK VAT or recover it from you in line with HMRC regulations.

HOW LONG IS THE DELIVERY LEAD TIME?

The total typical lead-time from placement of order to delivery of goods on our standard service is 7 to 10 working days for all deliveries, however, many orders are satisfied quicker than this. We will communicate a delivery date to you within 2 working days of you placing your order.

Deliveries with pre-order items

If you have ordered items marked as pre-order, we will provide an estimated date for when they are expected to arrive in stock. Once the items are available, we will notify you with a delivery date, which is typically within 7–10 working days after placing your order.

If your order includes both in-stock and pre-order items, all items will be delivered together once everything is available. Should you prefer to receive in-stock items sooner, an additional delivery charge will apply for separate shipments.

Deliveries with Made to Measure, Custom Made or Bespoke items

If you have ordered items marked as Made to Measure, Custom Made or Bespoke, we will provide an estimated date for when they are expected to arrive in stock. Once the items are available, we will notify you with a delivery date, which is typically within 7–10 working days after placing your order.

If your order includes both in-stock and Made to Measure, Custom Made or Bespoke items, all items will be delivered together once everything is available. Should you prefer to receive in-stock items sooner, an additional delivery charge will apply for separate shipments.

WHO WILL DELIVER MY DOORS?

Delivery via our own fleet of vehicles

Our trained delivery staff deliver your doors using our own fleet of vehicles to a ground floor room of your choice. Due to the size and weight of doors and components, our drivers are specifically trained to handle them safely and professionally. While they always appreciate assistance on-site, please note that they are unable to carry items upstairs or across uneven or unsafe surfaces, even with help.

Delivery via a kerbside palletised deliveries

If your area is serviced by one of our selected courier partners, your doors will be delivered to the kerbside. The doors will be packaged securely and palletised. The driver will be unable to take the items into your home or wait while you inspect them. It is your responsibility to dispose of the pallet that the doors arrive on, but it is a good idea to keep it safe until your have checked the goods for any damages or faults.

WHAT IS THE DELIVERY COST?

WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE DAY OF DELIVERY?

Delivery will typically take place between 8am and 5pm. On the day of delivery you will be sent an e-mail and text message notifying you of a 2-hour time window for your delivery. You will also be supplied a tracking link to keep you up to date with the status of your delivery and location of our delivery vehicle.

CAN I PICK UP MY ORDER INSTEAD OF DELIVERY?

Yes, you can pick up your order instead of getting it delivered. At checkout, simply choose the Click & Collect option, choose your preferred collection point, and wait for your email confirmation to say your order is ready to collect.

Please note:

We do not pre-pick goods before your arrival. There may be a short wait whilst we gather your items.

Collection of goods from our collection points can sometimes be delayed due to the need to move stock to your preferred location. If this occurs this will be communicated to you by one of our Door Experts.
