This page answers the most frequently asked questions about faulty goods, what to do if your item arrives damaged or developed and issues, and the guarantees that come with your purchase. You'll also find guidance on how to report a problem and what to expect during the resolution process.

I HAVE RECEIVED A DAMAGED PRODUCT, WHAT DO I DO?

Damaged Product

In the unlikely event that a product arrives damaged, we will exchange the item provided we are notified in writing within 3 working days of delivery.

Please Note: by fitting, finishing or making any alterations, the doors will be deemed to have been accepted as supplied. No claims relating to damage will be entertained on any product that has been altered in ANY way. It is up to YOU, the customer to check the goods NOT the person fitting the products.

To report damage, please contact your Door Expert in the first instance with detailed information about the issue (and images, if possible), along with your order number and they will be more than happy to help. If you unable to reach your Door Expert then please email [email protected]

MY PRODUCT HAS BECOME FAULTY, HOW DO I MAKE A GUARANTEE CLAIM?

Faulty Product

In the unlikely event that a product becomes faulty during its guarantee period we will be happy to assist. To report a fault, please email [email protected] with as much detail as possible, including images and your order number to allow our customer service team to process your claim.

CAN I REPLACE THE GLASS IN MY DOOR?

Whilst it is technically possible to replace the glass within your door, we would strongly discourage this. The glass is carefully fitted during the beading process by a specialist team, and removing it requires the beading to be taken off. Unfortunately, this process carries a high risk of causing permanent damage to the beading. As we are unable to source or supply replacement beading for any of our internal or external doors, we would not recommend attempting this repair.

It is important to note that any attempts to modify the door will result in the voiding of all guarantees associated with the product.

WHAT IS THE LIFETIME GUARANTEE?

Due to the continued confidence that our Todd Doors Engineered Interior Doors will be free from defects, we will guarantee our workmanship and materials for the lifetime of the original owner, so long as the doors are treated and maintained as instructed.

WHAT IS THE GUARANTEE ON DOOR FURNITURE?

We will guarantee Todd Doors, Stahlwerk & Charles Todd branded door furniture products, in line with their anticipated use, against design and mechanical defects for a period of 10 years from the date of purchase, subject to valid proof of purchase.

We will guarantee non-Todd Doors branded products, in line with their anticipated use, against design and mechanical defects for a period of 1 year from date of purchase subject to valid proof of purchase. Claims arising outside of the 1-year period will not be considered; please refer to the manufacturer’s guarantee after this period.

As a result of unknown factors such as, but not limited to, location of product installation or anticipated levels of use, the aesthetic finish of Todd Doors, Stahlwerk and Charles Todd products is guaranteed for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase, subject to valid proof of purchase.
