Todd Doors, the UK's leading supplier of quality timber doors, is recruiting for an enthusiastic Operations Supervisor to join our Northolt warehouse team. Applicants must be professional and motivated individuals who possess a valid UK driver's license (minimum 2 years) and a Counterbalance Forklift Licence with experience.

The right candidate will support the smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse and delivery operations. In this hands-on role, they will lead by example, support the team on the floor and step in wherever needed. The focus of the role is to ensure orders are picked and delivered accurately, stock is controlled properly, processes are followed, and safety standards are maintained.

Experience in using routing software such as Maxoptra.

You'll support the Warehouse Manager in ensuring the smooth running of daily operations, from receiving deliveries to preparing outgoing orders, while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.

Main Responsibilities include:

  • Processing orders generated by the Todd Doors website.
  • Providing expert door advice to ensure that a customer has everything they will need to complete their project, for example door furniture or other necessary items.
  • Liaising with customers to book deliveries and other queries.
  • Confidently communicating with customers, via the Telephone/Live Chat/Email, and dealing with their enquiries efficiently.
  • Advising colleagues on customer feedback and opportunities regarding the website.
  • Always professionally representing the company.

Requirements:

  • A persuasive and energetic personality with excellent administration skills and an eye for detail.
  • Excellent telephone manner and an ability to use various methods of communication which are appropriate to the customer’s needs.
  • Confident in giving customer product information and advice, when necessary.
  • Handling payments via the website with confidence and due diligence.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Working as part of our Carpentry Team based at our St Albans joinery workshop. Using professional workshop equipment to prepare products to a high standard and within the agreed lead-times for our customers. Overseeing and maintaining the warehouse facilities, ensuring all the stock is kept safe, tidy and organised, and deliveries are booked in.

  • Preparation work including unwrapping, checking, cleaning, filling and sanding of doors and frames, before, during and after spraying has occurred
  • Assisting with checking the quality of all incoming doors
  • Assisting with the warehouse operation – lifting heavy doors, storage of doors. Keeping the warehouse tidy and ensuring health and safety measures are adhered to
  • Ensuring stock is stored in correct locations for stock checks
