1930s Door Inspiration

Oak 1930s 4-Panel Lifestyle

Oak 1930s 4-Panel / Rustic Oak DX

Most commonly fitted in houses from the 1930’s, the Rustic Oak DX / 1930’s would also work well in Art Deco houses or homes with wooden panel finished walls.

Doors from the Art Deco or ‘Style Moderne’ period featured simple, clean shapes and a streamlined geometry. This door pairs nicely with the Parisian Bronze ‘Zuppo’ knob fitted on a longer latch in to the raised mid rail.

Supplied untreated with a Rustic Oak veneer, this door can be stained a colour of your choice or Osmo oiled to give a natural look. For extra safety the 1930's are also available as a fire door, safety and style doesn't have to be compromised.

We also offer the same pattern in a white primed, for those who require a painted version and in a glazed top-light panel version, with clear flat glass.

Oak Maine

Maine

Ideal for either a painted or stained finish, the Maine and Vermont 4-light clear glazed version are elegant interpretaions of doors commonly fitted in the early 19 hundreds, the Art Deco or Art Nouveau periods. Available in a RAL colour of you choice.

We think that this design reminds us back to clean simple shapes and an emphasis on expert craftsmanship.

These doors are beautifully made using the finest American White Oak veneers and solid timber lippings and mouldings. Even so, they can be painted and look great in stronger colours, which can emphasize the panels. Particularly when paired with our ‘Viso’ Lever in Midnight Black or 'Classico' Knob in Parisian Bronze.

White Harrow Lifestyle

Harrow

The Harrow door combines simplicity with elegance. Its clean lines, exquisite layered stepped mouldings, and rectilinear geometry come together to create a striking 1-Panel design.

Available in two stunning finishes—white primed, ready for your chosen top coat, or a fully finished light grey textured laminate—the Harrow is a versatile choice that fits perfectly in a range of home styles. Whether you’re embracing the charm of 1920s and 1930s, the sophistication of Art Deco, or modern and traditional aesthetics, the Harrow door adds timeless appeal to any space.

We think the Harrow looks great fitted with our 'Messina' lever in Brilliante Chrome and Pearlescent Nickel.

Also, offered as a fully glazed version and in Made to Measure sizes too.

Napier

With a hint of Art Deco design within the Napier, with its stepped layered moulding design and simple, clean elegant shapes.

Offered as a 2-Panel solid door or with the top panel removed and fitted with clear bevelled glass, the 1920’s or 1930’s inspired design looks great when fitted with our Pugni or Liberta levers, helping finishing off that streamlined look.

The Napier will look great being installed in Modern and Traditional settings, as well as in Period homes, particularly from the 1920s and 1930s.

White 1930s 4-Panel Lifestyle

1930s 4-Panel

The traditional design of this door will give any home a classic look, helping to create the vintage aesthetic of a bygone era.

The 1930 4-panel is constructed using a solid core over a primed high-density fibreboard face, featuring flat panels that create the traditional 1 over 3 look, complimented with a simple bead detail. Also, available as a 6 panel design.

Primed solid timber softwood lippings to allow for a generous amount of on-site trimming.

We think the 1930s 4 panel will look great in a bold colour to showcase the panelling and beading detail and fitted with our 'Zigrinato Mortice' Knobs in Midnight Black.
