At Todd Doors we offer a small, but well selected and manufactured, range of Clear Pine Doors.
Our range features a number of traditional reproduction door designs which are intended to match/complement existing property door styles.
What is the difference between Knotty Pine and Clear Pine? Traditionally pine doors have been manufactured using solid knotty pine. Whilst this provided a cost effecting method for production, knotty pine is prone to warping, cracking, twisting and bowing. Knotty pine is also renowned for “bleeding” from the knots which start to show through any paint or stain finish that has been applied to them. A clear pine door in an engineered product which has no knots and a solid timber man-made core. This construction method eliminates the “bleeding” and increases the overall stability of the door.
