The ultra flexible design of our folding-sliding door systems makes it possible for you to bring a little piece of your outside into your home.
Available as an entirely bespoke solution, enabling you to specify all aspects of the size, design and finish or, as shown below, in standard sizes, at extremely competitive prices.
Simply select a frame size, choose an opening configuration to suit your room layout and finally, colour co-ordinate your system with one of the many available paint or stain finishes, again shown below.
OUTER FRAME & DOOR FRAMES
Multi layered softwood/hardwood timber sections with opposing grains prevents warping and combats twisting caused by natural moisture. An Oak sill is used to
provide extra durability in high traffic areas.
MECHANISM
The doors hang from the top track by stainless steel fittings tested to 50,000 cycles, allowing effortless opening and closing.
SECURITY
Every door junction has a locking bolt at the top and bottom. The opening door also has a deadlock to the centre operated by a euro cylinder with 10 point key, tested
to max. key grade 5.
GLAZING
Fully double-glazed using thermal insulating glass with an argon filled cavity provides a highly energy efficient door compliant with current building regulation. Centre pane u-value 1.1 laminated
glass is used as standard.
PAINTING
Micro-porous layers of paint are spray applied to the timber. This advanced system provides a barrier against severe weather conditions whilst allowing timber to breathe actively. Temperature
and humidity changes are compensated for by the high elasticity of the paint coating resulting in a robust product providing the simple maintenance guide is followed.
PRE-INSTALLATION
Folding sliding doors are not delivered assembled due to their size and weight.
You will receive all panels, disassembled frame and a box containing all required hardware and fixings.
Our folding sliding doors use a top hung system and require load-bearing lintel fitted prior to installation.
External - French Doors
Made to the same exacting standards as our folding door system, our French door pairs and single doors again can further enhance your home. Both French and single doors, in this range, are made to measure and can be supplied with various frame designs or to special order.
These external products feature a high security multi-point locking system as well as adjustable hinges allowing you the flexibility of opening to the inside of your home or outside. For more information including pricing please speak to one of our Door Experts.
The illustration below indicates the varied colour available in the RAL system. Both the Folding Door system and French Doors can be finished in any of the RAL colours as well as the following coloured stains: Pine, Light Oak, Dark Oak, Natural Oak, Mahogany, Ebony, Walnut, Pecan and transparent (Internal only).
